Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup clarified butter

  • 1/2 cup yogurt

  • 1 cup caster sugar

  • 1 1/2 cups semolina

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp baking soda

METHOD

  • Put clarified butter into a bowl, add yogurt and mix thoroughly
  • Add caster sugar, semolina and milk – whisk thoroughly
  • Allow mixture to rest for 15-20 minutes
  • Add baking powder and baking soda to the mixture, stir
  • Grease baking pan with clarified butter and dust with flour, removing excess flour.
  • Bake at 180C for 40-45 minutes
