Kindled Spirit started supporting Kshamata in 2014, at that time Kshamata were supporting 14 young survivors of trafficking at their Skills Development Centre in Mumbai. In early 2016 Kshamata were recognised by the State Government of Maharashtra as an organisation who were successfully supporting and transforming the lives of these young girls / ladies in the city. Kshamata was granted access to a number of Government care homes around Mumbai, as a result of this action and our funding, Kshamata is now supporting in excess of 850 girls.
